Welcome to the third edition of Birka Historical Tattoo Fest, May 29 – June 1, 2025.
Here, you’ll meet 40 world-class artists from the historical, Nordic, Celtic, Baltic, and ornamental tattoo scenes, working with various historical and modern electric methods. Planning to get a tattoo? Contact your chosen tattoo artist directly to book an appointment. Drop-in sessions may be available, subject to space. This year’s tattoo artists will be announced here and on Birka’s social media during winter and spring 2025.
During the event, we’ll host a Viking market where you can purchase replicas and historical crafts, meet Vikings, experience a blot ceremony, have your runes read, try archery, and enjoy historical folk music by @dajogniaband, @folketbortafor, and many more bands. There will also be a unique chance to participate in one of the workshops held during the Birka Historical Tattoo Fest.
Presentations of each tattoo artist, workshops, additional entertainment, and activities will be announced soon here on our website and on @birkahistoricaltattoofest Instagram and Facebook. Follow us!
